J. David Stevens is the founder and president of STEVENS.COM, Inc. Having started his career as a geophysicist in 1968, he has been a part of the migration of seismic data analysis from colored pencils and paper to computerized GIS and exploration systems. He has assisted client companies with networks with one deskside single CPU server to networks that include many servers and many terabytes of disk storage. He has managed all parts of a network from hardware specification through end user application and data support.
Brian Stevens is a senior systems consultant with a specialty in managing Solaris and Linux systems and networks. He started his career assisting in the maintenance of approximately 600 Sun clients at Amoco Production Company in Denver. He has worked for Sun Microsystems where he assisted in the installation of several Enterprise 10000 servers at customer sites. He was the lead systems engineer at Active.com, the largest online sports registration and management web site in the world where he managed Sun, Cobalt, VA Linux, and Dell Servers running Solaris, Linux, NT, Apache/mod_perl, MySQL, Oracle, ColdFusion and SQL Server. He currently maintains Solaris, Linux, and Network Appliance servers and workstations for a major oil company. He also provides system administration and troubleshooting services for several other clients.
